When it comes children and learning to be on their own, I guess time plays a factor in it because when we were growing up, technology wasn’t around and even if it were, only the rich afforded it and so going to play and learning social skills wasn’t a choice. We had to. Aside that, coming from poor backgrounds, our parents didn’t pamper us because they didn’t have the time. Therefore, it made us to learn to be on our own. But for today’s kids! I think because there’s the availability of almost everything to them, that’s why things are these way. But overall, parents can do better in the emotional and psychological shapening of their children by learning to let be on their own sometimes…
