Yeah. It reminds me of a girl I dated back then who was crazy about me although I was broke and couldn't provided for her and when I sort to enquire from her why she was choosing me over rich guys who were chasing after her and her response was that " I make her feel good about herself". So yes, the idea of making people feel good is a no brainer when it comes to relationships.
